This is the classic Dr. Martens women’s 8-eye 1460 boot—made using Hair On Cow hides. The result is pure Victoriana: macabre, dark and totally gothic, this boot is all about cold winter nights reading Poe by candlelight. Black lipstick not required—but strongly encouraged. This 1460 women’s 8-eye boot retains original Doc like the grooved sides, yellow stitching and black-and-yellow heel loop. It’s constructed on our iconic air-cushioned sole, that's oil-and-fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance—and has been since 1960. The boot is Goodyear-welted, meaning the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch. We use the name "Horsey Long Hair", a genuine hair-on leather with a longer-than-usual hair length, genuine Cow Hair on leather.
